Meet: Jasmin Plouffe

Hey Jasmin, what do you do?
I specialize in customer-focused branding. It’s a skill that I refined while designing products that were sold at Walmart and Target. It positions your business as the solution to get your client from where they are now to where they want to be.

How did you get here? What steps did you take to end up here?
I've always been a visual person. From my training as a dancer to majoring in graphic design, I love how visuals tell a story and create connection. I worked in the fashion industry for 10 years but always felt like something was missing. I decided to leap into entrepreneurship to help my clients find clarity in creating their fullest potential with branding that makes them feel confident, empowered, and excited to share their business with the world. It is my way of paying forward the guidance and inspiration I found from other entrepreneurs when she felt lost and overwhelmed throughout my career.

What fuels your creativity?
Leaving my house lol. I work remotely from home. So taking a walk around the block, a day trip to the city, or traveling to a new location gets the creative juices flowing again.

What defines a good from a great client for you?
Their willingness to collaborate. I'm not an expert in your business/industry. So being open to collaborating and sharing aspects of their business and personal story will help create a brand that feels like you and sets you apart from others in your industry.

What defines a terrible client for you?
I don't believe in terrible clients. Understanding the red flags of those you don't want to work with is essential. It's also important to meet your clients where they are at and set clear expectations. This will build trust between you and the client and hopefully circumvent any terrible client situations.

How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as an unspoken sophistication. It’s clean. It’s simple. It oozes confidence. It has a sense of refinement that says you're sexy without saying it.
